Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of lifetimelabs.dev and the tools hosted on it, including Paper and PrivacyNotes (the "Services"), provided by Lifetime Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Using our tools

You may use the free tier of our web tools for any lawful purpose. The Services run on your own device; you are responsible for the files you process and for making your own backups. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.

Paid licenses

Paid tiers (for example, Paper Pro) are sold as one-time licenses. A license unlocks the features described at the point of sale for the lifetime of the product. There is no recurring fee.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the seller of record for billing, tax, and payment purposes. When you make a purchase, you are transacting with Paddle, and their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to that transaction in addition to these terms.

A license is personal to you and may not be resold. We may revoke a license if it is obtained fraudulently or used to breach these terms.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date, no questions asked. Because all payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record), refund requests are handled directly by Paddle. You can request a refund by replying to your purchase receipt email or by visiting paddle.net. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

Customers in the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. This right is honored regardless of the above policy.

Intellectual property

The Services, including the code, design, and branding, are the property of Lifetime Labs LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Services except as permitted by applicable law. Your files remain yours — we claim no ownership or license over any content you process using the Services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to process or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to revoke access to paid features if we reasonably determine that a license is being used in violation of these terms.

No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Because our tools run locally on your device, we cannot recover or reconstruct any file you process.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to paid features if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. Sections on intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory laws in your jurisdiction.
